Build workflows
Start with the outcome, shape Doso's proposed plan, and agree on what done means.
In the Workflows hub, keep Workflows selected and choose New. Describe the outcome in the chat panel; Doso proposes a workflow on the canvas for you to review.
1. Start with a conversation
Explain the result, relevant context, constraints, and why the work matters. For example:
Doso turns the request into a proposed workflow, including the work it expects to do and the checks it will use. Give the workflow a clear title at the top of the editor.
2. Review and change the plan
- Move steps on the canvas to make the path clear
- Open Skills, then select or drag a capability onto the canvas
- Connect steps in the order the work should proceed
- Remove a step that does not contribute to the outcome
Ask for changes in the conversation, such as “Use primary sources for every pricing claim” or “Show me the update before it is delivered.” The chat panel and canvas edit the same workflow, and changes save automatically.
3. Define done
State the finish condition before the run starts. For the competitive brief, done might mean all three alternatives are covered, important claims have primary-source links, disagreements are marked, and the final brief passes a completeness check.
- Name the required deliverable or completed action
- Specify the evidence and quality checks you expect
- Identify who should receive or approve the result
- Set boundaries for actions Doso may take
4. Start the workflow
Choose Run. Doso begins working toward the finish condition and opens the run so you can supervise progress. If a step is missing or invalid, the editor shows the problem so you can correct the plan and try again.
