Skills

Skills are the capabilities Doso can use to reach an outcome, such as researching current information, checking claims, preparing a project update, or delivering it to the right audience. The Skills rail shows the capabilities available to the current workflow.

Add a capability

• Use the title and description to understand what a skill can do
• Select a skill to add it to the canvas
• Or drag the skill to the place where it belongs
• Connect it after the step that supplies the context it needs

For a verified competitive brief, Doso can use capabilities to find primary sources, compare claims, identify missing evidence, and prepare the final brief. The workflow combines those capabilities around the outcome rather than asking you to manage their internals.

Configure access in Settings

Skills backed by external tools need those tools to be available. Under Settings → Tools, add required credentials and use the enablement controls shown for that tool. This grants Doso access to the capability; it does not approve a consequential action.

Approve consequential actions

During work, Doso separately asks for consent before it sends, publishes, changes, purchases, or otherwise acts beyond observation.

• Choose once to allow this request
• Choose always to allow future requests within that boundary
• Choose never to block the action
• Revise the boundary whenever the workflow should take a different path

Edit a skill

Choose Edit beside a skill. Every skill lets you change its title and description. Skills that show Instructions also let you refine the result, constraints, checks, and output format; changes save automatically.

Editing a title or description does not add a new capability, change the underlying tool, or bypass its credentials and enablement. If Instructions is not shown, the skill's action is managed by its underlying capability.
